Saber Astronautics, LLC is incorporated in Denver, Colorado. Its founders represent a wide array of backgrounds, combining traditional space engineering, military space operations, and academic expertise. Company partners' engineering expertise includes the Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC3) portion of the Hubble Space Telescope, ISS, Orbital Express, and Deep Impact. Operations expertise includes senior instructors from the US space military school, seasoned operators for US Army Space Command, and a decorated ICBM squadren leader from US Air Force Space Command. Current thrust of work is focused on video game quality space simulation, 3D visualization, and its application to space operations. Saber Astronautics LLC is one of the few companies to have forged relationships crossing the boundaries between space engineering and graphics design.
Saber Astronautics Australia Pty Ltd was incorporated in Sydney in 2008 in order to leverage Systems of Systems engineering approaches pioneered by its founder. The company focuses on Australian specific expertise including two Aerospace and Mechatronics PhDs from the Australian Center for Field Robotics, one of the largest field robotics laboratories in the world and a foundational center for Systems of Systems research. Also represented is Australia's awardees for top undergraduate thesis in space engineering. Current thrust of work is applied Systems of Systems engineering for large complex space projects.
