Saber Astronautics is expanding rapidly, alongside a booming space industry. We are seeking two (2) DevOps Software Engineers to work on-site in Aurora, Colorado. The Role

As a DevOps Engineer, you will work with a team developing state-of-the-art application infrastructure software and systems for Space-Based Infrared System (SBIRS) data processing applications. These positions are based in Aurora and will involve onsite and remote work. As a DevOps Software Engineer, you will be responsible to design, develop, and configure the containerization systems. General Required Qualifications:

• In-depth understanding of all Saber Astronautics' flagship products/software
• Ability to adapt to changing expectations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work with aggressive timelines
• Ability to work in a team environment, in a paired programming environment, and/or independently
• Intrinsically motivated, self-starter with a willingness to learn and grow
• Beneficial to have some background in space industry, but not required
• Perform other duties as necessary

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or other relevant technical discipline
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience with software development
• Knowledge and experience planning, building, and deploying DevOps pipelines
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of microservices
• Experience with Java and object-oriented software development
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Unclassified Secret clearance

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum three (3) years supporting the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD)
• Experience with OpenShift
• Experience with container saging software
• Experience on a government software project
• Experience with Eclipse, Junit, and Git

Compensation & Benefits:

• US Citizenship - To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
